Product Description
1.When heating and melting adhesive products on site, it is advisable to use a steel precision pot with a diameter of about 20-30cm, stirring while heating. The temperature should not be too high, based on not smoking. If the temperature is too high, it will cause the adhesive to oxidize and decompose, affecting the performance of the adhesive.
2. During construction, use a specialized adhesive tool - a metal roller (solid, with a diameter of 40mm and a length determined by the adhesive width). When bonding, the roller is placed in the glue and heated to the same temperature as the glue. At the same time, a wooden board slightly wider than the roller is diagonally placed in the pot. When the roller is taken out of the pot, it rolls on the wooden board to control the amount of dipping on the roller, which can ensure even glue application; On the other hand, to avoid wastage of adhesive flow. During the glue application interval, the roller is always placed in the hot glue. You can also use wood to scrape metal sheets and apply glue.
3. After applying adhesive on both bonding surfaces, immediate pressure should be applied to bond them tightly and fully. During winter construction, the length of each adhesive application should not exceed 40cm, and the operation should be fast. On site, pressure can be applied by tapping the bonding surface with a foot or a rubber hammer. If the foundation is uneven, a movable wooden board with a width of about 35cm can be padded under the joint. If only one adhesive surface is coated with adhesive, the bonding strength will be greatly reduced.

In specific construction, the operation of geomembrane hot melt adhesive is also very simple. Firstly, it needs to be heated to a suitable viscosity, and then applied to the predetermined position of the geotextile using a specialized glue gun. The key point to note is to maintain a uniform and stable pressure during the use of the glue gun, and pay attention to the temperature and viscosity of the glue to ensure its bonding effect. In addition, before the glue dries, it must be ensured that there is no displacement or other damage in its location, otherwise it will affect its bonding effect.
