Basiseigenschappen en toepassingen van Violet 7:
Rood lichtpaars. Blu-ray kleurrijk rood poeder. In een wateroplosbaarheid van 20 ºC van 10 g/l is de oplosbaarheid die door temperatuur wordt beïnvloed zeer klein, oplosbaar in water voor rood lichtpaars, in onder een  geel wolfraam. In 120 ºC hoge temperatuur verven, gekleurd licht onveranderd. De kleurstofoplossing mag niet koken. Compatibiliteitswaarde van drie, de f-waarde is 0.26. Voornamelijk gebruikt om de wol te verven, acrylvezel verspreid en vergeleken acrylvezels, kan ook worden gebruikt in de twee azijn en acrylvezel direct bedrukken.
