Product Description

LDPE is a Low Density Polyethylene easily processed on all types of extruders designed for polyethylene.

The melt temperature is suggested to be in the range of 150 - 190°C. Excellent properties of the film are achieved with a blow - up ratio of 2.5:1 and recommended film thickness range from 15 to 40 μm.

It is recommended for mono and multilayer thin gauge blown film extrusion.

APPLICATION

 

Application of low density polyethylene
1. Packaging
Low-density polyethylene bags are often used in many products purchased from supermarkets because of their good flexibility and strong sealing, which can effectively protect the integrity and durability of the contents of the package. In addition, LDPE bags are also commonly used in the packaging of garbage bags and waste.
2. Pipe
Low density polyethylene pipe has good corrosion resistance, bendability and good rupture resistance. Therefore, LDPE pipes are widely used in water supply, cable sheaths, chemical pipelines and so on. In terms of decoration, it is easy to electrostatic spray and laminate.
3. Cables and wires
Low density polyethylene is widely used in the field of wire and cable because of its good insulation.
4. Agricultural coverage
Due to its good air permeability and water vapor permeability, good flexibility, strong aging resistance, light weight and easy operation, low density polyethylene is widely used in agricultural coverage fields, such as mulch film.

 

ADVANTAGE

1. Low density: Low density polyethylene has a low molecular weight, so it has a low density, generally between 0.92 and 0.94. This gives LDPE excellent performance in many applications.
2. Good flexibility: Due to the existence of a large number of branch chains in the LDPE structure, the distance between its molecular chains is large, and it is not easy to crystallize, so it has good flexibility and ductility.
3. Good durability: LDPE has excellent oxidation resistance and aging resistance, and can maintain good mechanical properties for a long time.
4. Easy processing: Low-density polyethylene is easy to process into products of various shapes, sizes and uses, with good plasticity and formability.
