Beschrijving

Legering C-276 heeft een uitstekende weerstand tegen plaatselijke corrosie, scheurvorming door spanningscorrosie en tegen oxiderende en reducerende media, waardoor het geschikt is voor een breed scala aan chemische procesomgevingen, waaronder ferrichloride en cuprichlorides, heet verontreinigde media (organisch en anorganisch), mierenzuur en azijnzuur, zeewater en pekeloplossingen. Het is een van de weinige materialen die bestand is tegen de corrosieve effecten van nat chloorgas, hypochloriet en chloordioxide.
