Beschrijving

De lichtmetalen S hebben een uitstekende thermische stabiliteit, een lage thermische uitzetting en een uitstekende oxidatieweerstand bij 1093ºC. Het heeft een goede hoge temperatuur en thermische vermoeidheid. Het behoudt zijn kracht en vervormbaarheid na veroudering bij temperaturen van 427 tot 871ºC. Legering S is vooral geschikt voor cyclische verwarmingsomstandigheden waarbij componenten na langdurige blootstelling hun sterkte, vervormbaarheid en metallurgische integriteit moeten kunnen behouden.
