Perindopril is an antihypertensive drug developed by the French pharmaceutical company Schweppes under the trade name of Asterix. It is a long-acting antihypertensive drug with a peak time of 2-4 hours after oral administration and a half-life of 30-120 hours. In addition to the generic form, there is also a compounded version of this drug, "Perindopril indapamide tablets", known as "Bepril", which is taken by many hypertensive patients in China.

2. Perindopriltert-buty laminesalt, chemically known as (2S,3aS,7aS)-1-[(2S)-2-[[(1S)-1-(ethoxycarbonyl)butyl]amino]propanoyl]octahydro-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid tert-buty lamine salt, was developed by the French company Servier as an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor. It is an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor developed by Servier and marketed in France in 1989. It is used clinically for the treatment of hypertension and congestive heart failure because it has a dilating and elastic repair effect on the arterial vasculature, reduces left ventricular hypertrophy, corrects myocardial hypertrophy and subendocardial collagen excess, and reduces the incidence of perfusion arrhythmias.
