BST-BS gevlochten basaltfiber, dunne wand 1.5 mm is gemaakt van gloeidraad basaltfiber, dikke wand 3 mm is gemaakt van getexturiseerde basaltfiber.                            
1.5 mm dik van 6 mm tot 152 mm, 3 mm dik van 10 mm tot 100 mm.                            
Zeer bestand tegen de meeste oliën, hydraulische vloeistoffen, brandstoffen, zuren en basen en vocht.                            
Het biedt uitstekende bescherming voor industriële draden, kabels, slangen (hydrauliek), buizen en pijpen en biedt ook thermische isolatie en bescherming van personeel.
