5V V-belt is a commonly used transmission belt in the industrial field, specifically belonging to narrow V-belt. The characteristic of this triangular belt is that its cross-sectional size is small, with a top width of 16 millimeters and a belt thickness of 13.5 millimeters, thus having a smaller cross-sectional area. Compared to ordinary V-belts, 5V V-belts have higher transmission efficiency and are more suitable for areas with higher speeds.

The 5V V-belt also has its unique structure. Its wedge angle (the angle between the two sides of the V-belt) is 40 °, with a relative height of 0.9. The strong layer is composed of multiple layers of coated curtain fabric or a single row of impregnated wire ropes. This structure allows the transmission capacity of 5V V-belts to be increased by 0.5-1.5 times compared to ordinary V-belts at the same speed. At the same time, when the transmission power is the same, its structural size is reduced by 50% compared to ordinary V-belts, and its service life is significantly extended. The maximum speed can reach 40-50m/s, and the transmission efficiency can reach 90% -97%.

 

In addition, 5V V-belts are widely used in various industrial machinery and equipment, such as machine tools, textile machinery, printing machinery, food processing machinery, etc., to transmit power and motion, enabling mechanical equipment to operate normally.
