Verschijning : Wit kristallijn massief.

Stabiliteit : oplosbaar in de meeste organische oplosmiddelen, onoplosbaar in water (in water 5x10-3mg/l bij pH6.5) stabiliteit stabiel in zuur, ontbinden in alkalescentie.  
Gebruik:  Lambda-cyhalothrin is een breed spectrum insecticide met een krachtig contact en een maagvergiftiging. Het heeft een snelle afkalf. Lambda-cyhalothrin wordt gebruikt in katoen, groente, fruit en tabak. Het heeft een lage toxiciteit voor heilzame insecten.
