Sofosbuvir is een geneesmiddel dat wordt gebruikt voor de behandeling van hepatitis C. het wordt aanbevolen om te worden gebruikt in combinatie met andere medicijnen voor de eerste-lijnbehandeling van HCV-genotypes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, en 6. Het wordt van kracht door als nucleotide analoge remmer te fungeren, die in staat is de HCV NS5B (niet-structurele proteïne 5B) RNA-afhankelijke RNA-polymerase speciaal te remmen.

Toepassing&functie

1. Sofosbuvir is een soort hepatitis c virus (HCV) NS5B polymerase remmers nucleotide analogieën, van toepassing op als verenigde  antivirale behandelingssamenstelling bij de behandeling van chronische hepatitis c (CHC) infectie.
2. Sofosbuvir bevestigd door test kan effectief genotype 1, 2, 3 of 4 c behandelen, ook als er volgens de criteria van milaan  levertransplantatie van HCC-proefpersonen en co-infectie van HCV/HIV - 1 proefpersonen is.
