Fosforzuur, ook wel bekend als orthofosforzuur of fosforzuur(V), is een zwak zuur met de chemische formule H3PO4. Fosforzuur wordt in chemische laboratoria algemeen aangetroffen als een waterige oplossing van 85%, die een kleurloze, geurloze en niet-vluchtige siroop-vloeistof is. Hoewel fosforzuur niet voldoet aan de strikte definitie van een sterk zuur, kan de 85%-oplossing de huid nog steeds ernstig irriteren en de ogen beschadigen.
