Beschrijving

Productbeschrijving PG,andere naam1,2-propanediol, is een organische verbinding met de chemische formule C3H8O2. Het is mengbaar met water en diverse organische oplosmiddelen. Onder normale omstandigheden is het kleurloze viskeuze vloeistof, bijna smaakloos en licht zoet. Propyleenglycol kan worden gebruikt als grondstof voor onverzadigde polyesterhars en kan worden gebruikt als bevochtigingsmiddel met glycerol of sorbitol in cosmetica, tandpasta en zeep. In haarkleurstoffen wordt het gebruikt als vochtbeheersing, haarconditioner, antivries, cellofaan, plasticizer industrie.
