Perlite it's an essential ingredient in their garden.
It is a lightweight soil conditioner, loosens clay soil, reduces caking, improves drainage and aeration. Blend with peat moss
and perlite for custom soilless mix. Can be used to start seeds, propagate cuttings and store bulbs. 
Enhanced aeration & drainage with a neutral pH of around 7.0 derived from a natural source.

Expanded Perlite's Applications:

1.1-3/2-4/3-6mm is widely used in horticulture, urban greening to improve the soil porosity and ventilation, and withhold
water and fertilizer.

2.Widely used in oxygen manufacturer and freezer as well as insulating layer in transporting liquid oxygen and hydrogen.

3.Used to filter liquor, oil, medicine, food and dirty water.

Perlite is a volcanically erupted acidic lava, a vitreous rock formed by rapid cooling, so named because of its pearly fissure structure. Perlite mines include perlite, obsidian and turpentine. The difference between the three is that perlite has arc-shaped cracks formed by condensation, called perlite structure, with a water content of 2~6%; turpentine has a unique rosin luster, with a water content of 6~10%; obsidian has glass Luster and conchoidal fracture, the water content is generally less than 2%.
