PM18T-fotocel met tegengesteld type is ons meest populaire model dat bij turnstiles wordt gebruikt. PM18T foto-elektrische sensor die bij de ingang van de turnstile gate is geïnstalleerd, wordt gebruikt om te detecteren of mensen de turnstile gate binnendringen. Wanneer de kaart buiten de gele lijn wordt geveegt, is er geen voorwerp bij de ingang van de poort en is het sensorsignaal normaal, gaat de deur van de vleugel open; als de persoon de gele lijn binnengaat, verandert het sensorsignaal bij de ingang van de poort, zelfs als de kaart wordt geveegt, gaat de deur van de vleugel niet open. Het doel van dit ontwerp is het openen en sluiten van de vleugelpoort te voorkomen bij het op korte afstand vegen van de kaart, wat potentiële veiligheidsrisico's kan veroorzaken en ook het ontduiken van tickets kan voorkomen. De afstand tot productdetectie is 20 m , met bescherming tegen omgekeerde polariteit, overstroom en overspanningsbeveiliging, epoxyhars-afdichting tegen een ruige omgeving
