2001,en tegelijkertijd wordt geproduceerd volgens de norm van IEC, Engels, Duitsland en Amerika.

Geleider: Gegloeid koper, massief of gestrande maten 14 AWG tot 1000 MCM

Isolatie: Hoogwaardige vlamvertragende polyvinylchloride (PVC)

Jas: Taai polyamide (nylon)

Temperatuurwaarde mag niet hoger zijn dan:

THHN/THWN: 90°C droog en dump, 600 V.

THHN/THWN: 75 °C nat of in olie, 600 V.

THWN-2: 90°C droog, nat of in olie, 600 V.
