Polymeerpolyol is een trihydroxypolyether, die wordt bereid door polymerisatie van glycerol met propyleenoxide
en ethyleenoxide in aanwezigheid van een basiskatalysator, gevolgd door fijne zuivering.
 
Producttoepassingen  
Gebruikt voor flexibel schuim van slabbouillon.
Gebruikt bij de productie van autozitjes, matrassen en meubels.
