De PVC -geïsoleerde draden behoren tot de serie  legdraden , die  vooral geschikt zijn om op  vaste  plaatsen te leggen.   Dat zijn ze  
wordt veel gebruikt als connectoren van rijden, verlichting,  
Elektrische apparatuur, instrumenten en telecommunicatieapparatuur  met een nominale spanning tot  450/750V.onderdeel van de kunststof geïsoleerd
 Er worden draden   gebruikt bij  apparatuur met AC -nominale spanning  Tot  300 V.
